International Student Services Division (ISSD) of the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia will assist you in getting your student pass. ISSD will apply for the pass for you upon your arrival in University. The process of getting a student pass is rather complicated and time‐consuming. In general, the application and approval process may take about 1 – 2 months to be completed. To facilitate your student pass application you are required to submit the REQUIRED DOCUMENTS to ISC:

 

  1.  4 copies of offer letter or letter of acceptance to UKM
 

  2.  4 copies of your passport (excluding the blank pages) Please note that passport must be at​

       least in 1 year activation period.
  

  3.  4 copies of passport-sized photographs of the student (With Blue Colour Background)
 

  4.  4 copies of Medical Check-Up Report
  

  5.  4 copies of Insurance Coverage
 

  6.  4 copies of Release Letter from previous Institutes or Universities

Upon approval of the pass and submission of passport for student pass endorsement, you are required to pay the following:

i. Student pass of RM80.00 and RM110.00 for social pass[dependent if any] (a year or part of it). Note that the fees is subject to changes.
 

ii. Current Visa/re‐entry visa rate (amount depends on the country of origin, not exceeding RM100.00)
